The occupy movement brought hope to people all over America for a better, more just society. Locally, Occupy Oakland brought people from all over town together, and challenged the local powers-that be.

What about even more local? My street, my neighbor? My school? My busline? My neighborhood?

Now, let’s bring it to the neighborhood. What kinds of things do we need to make our lives more livable? Better childcare, housing, legal defense? Community advocacy?
